Our Inspiration, Philosophy & Method
"I am a designer by fabric, and am often inspired by the prints and properties of the fabric I feel. My design philosophy is rooted in creating pieces that are timeless and tasteful, fit to form and versatile. Each design I craft carries the possibility of multiple permutations, and when styled differently, can be worn to different occasions. This, is my solution to our fashion industry's problem of immeasurable waste and harm to the environment.
As each apparel is bespoke. it is unique to each lady. Even the ready-made apparel in our Shop are often only available in one piece. Coupled with our styling advice and colour recommendations, we desire to bring out the beauty in each lady. I personally believe that beauty heals, and this is my gift to you."

Our Bespoke Process
Grateful Dress was invited to take part in Singapore Stories 2022.
Alvina got into the semi-finals with an orchid-themed collection that incorporates elements of different cultural groups in Singapore.
For her competition piece, she created a modular cheongsam, featuring hand-sewn Japanese glass beads, and a collection entitled "In a Week".

A jumpsuit made out of men's shirting material, this is comfortable, luxurious and almost wrinkle-free. You can opt for a different neckline, add sleeves of your desired length, change the silhouette from a fitted bodice to a relaxed fit, and decide on how long you want the outfit to be too!

Rabbit Revelry Babydoll Dress
A playful print that brings cheer to the day, this dress features a round neck, rectangular sleeves and a high waist with waist darts. A slimming effect is created with no darts for the skirt portion, easily concealing any little tummy that might be there.
Customise the sleeves, neckline, length according to your liking.
