Prior to Covid in 2019, we managed to conduct a pro-bono sewing course for some ladies from Project X. When Covid struck, we started making reusable cloth masks to help meet the shortage of medical masks then. These were sold at below cost, and whatever proceeds that came in, went into getting materials for the next batch of masks.
We were glad to also have helped to make masks for healthcare workers during Covid under the national project, "Masks Sewn with Love" in 2020.
However, in 2021, it was unfortunate that our social media accounts were hacked in May. With that, we lost over 400 followers on Facebook and over 100 followers on Instagram that we built up from Feb 2019. In addition, we also lost the reviews that our customers have left for us.
Would you support us in rebuilding ourselves so that we can continue to give to the community with our sewing workshops?
