I fell in love with the rose surrounded by a ring of thorns the first time I experimented with making a logo. It represents God's love to me by sending Jesus to die on our behalf. Because of His love for me, I am grateful and now desire to live in a manner pleasing to Him.

As a lady, seeking beauty is natural. However, the Bible teaches me to clothe myself with good deeds. Does that mean I cannot take care of myself and dress up? I don't think so. They are not mutually exclusive. 

​

I feel better when I take the time to dress up. I feel confident, rested, and I came to realise that beauty heals me. God's love for us includes taking care of ourselves. 

​

I was moved when I saw a 21-year old girl who could not speak in a trip to the Philippines. She had nothing to do in her village, and she had missing teeth. She was hesitant to take a picture with me. As a social worker then, her woundedness softened me and I came back with the burning question, how could we alleviate poverty in those areas?

​

Setting up Grateful Dress as a social enterprise was two-fold. Firstly, to equip and give hope to those in need. Secondly, to promote a way of dressing that is pleasing to God - modest yet tasteful and adorned with good deeds. 

​

It thus feels apt to name our Loyalty Program as Roses Rewards. After all, which lady does not like receiving roses, a symbol of deep love? 

​

I hope that as we show our appreciation to you through the giving of Roses Rewards, you will feel loved and our gratitude.

You will receive the Roses for different things - when making a purchase, booking a session, referring a friend and even for something simple like signing up for an account. It is our little way of thanking you for supporting us.
